Rare pair Arts & Crafts stands with spindles and reverse tapered legs. Stickley era

A beautiful and rare pair of oak stands featuring spindled sides and unusual reverse tapered legs. They are in excellent solid condition, professionally refinished around 20 years ago. We have been specializing in furniture and accessories from the Arts & Crafts Movement in both the USA and UK and have never seen this form before. Along with their very interesting visual appearance, both exhibit excellent quarter-sawed grain or "ray flake", maker unknown to us. Finding a matched pair of rare forms is very difficult, these stands will make an excellent addition to any Arts & Crafts collection or Craftsman Bungalow interior. Measure: 26" high x 13" wide at the base, tops are 12" square.
